WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING IN NEW YORK CITY?!
I miss home. I miss my family and friends. I miss the south. I miss human contact. I miss smiles. I miss hugs. I miss laughing. I miss drinking for fun.
Today is not a good day.

I'm so sorry! I hope your day gets better.
Ugh...I hope I don't end up hating it too!! :(
Get thee into a dive bar, quick! I always feel right at home- nice people, far too huggy/touchy-feely, much laughter, poor singing abilities, classic rock. GO!
Trust me, we miss you too...
But you're in a much better place. Don't even think about coming home. I won't allow it.
Cheer up!! I'll take you out for drinks next week!! :)
Oh my. I wish I could give you a great big hug and hang out with you.
Lots of love.
Ummm...because it's the "Big Apple" and you moved their to make a better life and "make it big" and do all sorts of great things and go to all sorts of neat places and experience things like "Fashion Week".
Seriously, "Fashion Week" here in po'dunk Georgia is sitting outside the Piggly Wiggly and seeing who still has their curlers in!
Hang in there!!
You know what's weird? I JUST started loving NYC. I've lived here since July 2005! I don't really know what happened, except that it's nice that I can get cheap sushi in my grocery store, and $2.50 40s of Coors Light at the bodega. I love that it's this nice liberal oasis, because there's no way in hell I could wear my Obama shirt in Dallas without some redneck asshole getting all up on.
Anyway. When I'm not broke as shit (i.e. after Halloween), we should meet up for cheap drinks :)
