Bridges may be burning

Do I really want to tell HR exactly how I feel about their company? (In the most appropriate way, of course) or Is it really worth my time? I doubt anything I have to say is going to change their company policies on vacation and sick days along with the crappy bereavement. I have no doubt in my mind, I would rather live in a box on the side of the road than to ever work in Corporate America (let alone this company) again. But is it really worth beating my head against the wall one more time?

I have until the end of next week to think about it but I wanted other people's thoughts and whatnot as to what they did when they left.

Thoughts?

Try this, "Fuck you, fuck you, you're cook, fuck you, I'm out" Throw all your papers in the air and flip up your middle finger. That should be a memorable exit.

I left a job one time by sliding my office/desk keys taped to a florescent yellow note and a big "FUCK YOU" written with a trusted Sharpie under the entrance door. I regretted it... LOL Not the way to network. I gave 9 years of sweat and toil to that place and it ended like that. It did feel good in the moment, and the coworkers I left behind said it was a good morale booster to know somebody told the boss what he needed to hear. If your exit interview is legit, as in the company really wants to hear what you have to say, it may be worth it to give the company constructive criticism. You may not see the positive changes it could bring about, but those who follow you might. If you really don't care though, just tell them what they need to hear. My only advise is not to burn any bridges. Leaving the way I did was impulsive and felt good, but it harmed me professionally, and damaged my reputation among networking peers and hindered me for a really long time. It still may be hindering me when a potential employer calls for a reference. The last taste of you they should have is one of professionalism and dignity, two things they can never take away from you. Good luck! :)

I left a company in a really bad way and I regret it.
Going off on them on the way out may make you feel better, but it's not going to change anything with their policies.
But then again, I don't know what you went through there so maybe a good "Eff you" would ease your mind LoL.
