black flats.

I need a good sturdy round-one pair of black flats.
I hate it when I get on these kicks. (especially when I am broke, damn you, WaMu and your fastpass debit cards)I won't be able to sleep for weeks until I get them.

And the question always remains: Is a pair of black flats worth $70? I need to justify this. I'm going to swing by Steve Madden after work, then decide. I was trying to cut out the online shopping, but I might have to make an exception.

Any ideas? Personal stylist (Andie) are you still out there?

But will Target flats withstand the streets of New York?

Filene's basement or DSW!

Wow, Nicotine Queen, Your blog is heating up. No surprise. Told You that it would.

My answer: Of course the expense is justified. A Woman can never have too many shoes.

That's another thing they should tax us guys on, free cigarettes and shoes for every American Lady who wants 'em.

Are you gay? And if not, 6'2? And if so, single?

That is the most amazing thing anyone has ever said to me!

Thanks, Brooklyn Gal- I went to 14th Street and hit BOTH stores and bought 2 pairs.

What can I say? I have no will power.

One is a Steve Madden pair (which were $27!) and the other is Blowfish.

Two pairs? Awesome! I bet they feel great and I bet You look great in em, too! NYC is shakin' and everybody's breakin but You at least are stayin alive.

Sorry. Had a BeeGees moment there.

I'm not gay. I'm so hetero that it almost hurts. (Hence the capitalization of every Female pronoun that I write, out of sheer admiration, adoration and worship of You incredible Female beings.)

Although I feel there is nothing wrong with persons loving people of the same gender, man plus man or Woman plus Woman -- I mean, hey, the world needs more love and less hate.

I'm not quite that tall, either. And I do have a Lady in my life. We're not rich but it is the joy of my life to indulge Her on every possible occasion.

Our unspoken deal is that as long as our bills are paid, when She does want to buy something for Herself, I never, ever, ever tell Her no. And if She really, really wants it, the hell with the bills.

smart man that east coast dweller...

and I was going to say, yeah, for a season, probably, but you got some, so you are good.

I often forget about DSW- I love that store. shame we don't have one here. I imagine you went to the one in Union Square, in the same building with Filene's Basement?

If you ever run into clinton and stacy- you better get a picture for me. I have a crush on clinton. LOL
